In 2004, working in New York, I spent six weeks in and around Tibor Kalman's personal library, a collection of graphic design books and paraphernalia a Midwestern kid wasn't normally exposed to. By the fall of that year I'd left film production to pursue more design-oriented work.
Since then I've worked as a motion designer, animator, and eventually creative director, with particular interest in typography, editorial design, and period recreation, as well as data visualization and cartographic design. I've spent the past decade as a senior-level motion designer and 2D/3D animation generalist in Denver, Colorado.
Currently I'm working as Creative Director for Nifty Studio, seeking new client partnerships and further supplementing Nifty's technical prowess with a renewed dedication to visual sophistication.
Please reach out with any questions or inquiries.
