Info
While working in NYC with Red Bucket Films in the summer of 2004, I spent a number of weeks around the late Tibor Kalman's personal library of graphic design books, resources and keepsakes at his Manhattan home. It was the first time I'd really seen anything like it. By that fall I'd decided to quit film production to pursue more design-oriented work.
Since then I've worked mostly as a motion designer and animator, with particular interest in typography, editorial design, and period recreation, as well as data visualization and cartographic design. I spent a decade as a senior-level motion designer and 2D/3D animation generalist in Denver, then a few years specializing in film and show packages with a small agency my friend Brian had started.
Currently I work for Lumen Technologies as Lead Motion Designer.
